Here's how the mobile phone game works:
Players who sign up will receive simple mobile phone messages on Derby Day challenging them to pick the winning horses of races leading up to and including the Kentucky Derby. Players accumulate points for their picks. They will automatically be calculated and the leaders displayed throughout the day and, after all the shouting is over, the ultimate winners nationwide will be posted and notified.
Text messages will be sent about 20 minutes before the start of each race. You'll just pick a number, text it back, then watch the excitement build. It's an easy game that could make guests and hosts big Derby winners.
